| The instructor for both these classes is Mary Jane (current Florida State West Coast Swing Dance Champion). Her style, movement, and attitude is known throughout Florida in the dance scene. Learn from her how to bring the sexy into your dancing. Every Tuesday is LADIES ONLY NIGHT, the windows are covered and the lights are dimmed....to give a fear-free atmostphere for expressing yourself! 7pm starts with "Sultry Dance Styling Secrets" and surprise, a lot of that style centers around learn to control and manipulate your center. MJ will walk you thru and practice exercises that will help you come in touch with your body. 8pm is the "Shades of Seduction" part, this is where the really fun stuff comes in. Chair work, wall work, and floor work are all covered in this class. Each week progresses and routines are built over weeks of time. You know you always wanted to know how to dance like this and you KNOW your man wants to see you dance like this (whether you ever really do it is up to you). So jump on in and join us! |

| Public Dance Party - Only $7!!! Sultry Swing invites everyone of all ages and dance levels to join us as we swing, sway, and glide to our favorite tunes. Perfect for an evening of social dancing. Our dances have some of the nicest dancers in the area, and some of the best. Beyond good music, good dancing, and good friends to make, its only $7 for the dance party (8PM to 11PM)! | August 30th- WCS Intensive "Next Step" Sultry Swing presents our second in a series of West Coast Swing Crash-Course Intensives (taught by the owner, John Harris). This 3 hour intensive is a great way to continue in your journey of developing the skills and technique needed to continue your growth in West Coast Swing! The first in the series (Your First Steps) was wildly popular last time (34 students), so sign up early to lock up this great price for its sequel, "The Next Step"! This class will cover several important techniques of higher level leading and following...if you took the first class and are ready to take the next step, this is a can't miss opportunity!!! This 3 hour class starts at Noon on Saturday, August 30th (Noon to 3pm). The cost is $25 if purchased by Aug. 28th. If we aren't sold out, you may be able to pay at the door for $30! Please note that the RSVP without advance payment will not get you the discounted rate...you need to pay in advance for the $25 deal! This class is BEST SUITED for those who attended the first intensive or have been dancing West Coast Swing for at least a few months. September 13th - Dance Party for $7!!! Come swing with us at "Sultry Swing" with our next weekend dance! 8pm to 10pm - West Coast Swing Dance 10pm to 12am - "All Things Swing" Dance That's a 2 hour "West Coast Swing" dance, and then a 2 hour "Swing" dance.....all for $7. Snacks, water, and soft drinks are also available at no charge. No partner needed!!! |
| Int/Adv West Coast Swing Classes Finally, our weekly classes for the intermediate/Advance West Coast Swing dancer are open to the public!!! These classes will be regularly taught by John Harris, who will bring in special guest instructors from time to time. The classes will be from 7pm to 8pm every Wednesday and the cost is $15 (includes the dance afterwards). So if you consider yourself an intermediate/advance West Coast Swing dancer, this class is for you!!! No partner needed!!! |
| Intermediate West Coast Swing Workshops Finally, weekly "West Coast Swing" workshops for the intermediate dancer!!! These workshops will be regularly taught by John Harris, who will bring in special guest instructors from time to time. The workshop will be from 7pm to 8pm every Friday and the cost is $10. So if you consider yourself an intermediate West Coast Swing dancer, this class is for you!!! No partner needed!!! |
